Everything we create is meant to support how people feel, function and live. We begin with the outcome rather than the sound, then build the music from there. The artists I work with are writing for environments most musicians never think about - a different kind of canvas that asks something new of them. We get to play in the space between evidence and instinct - the science of how sound affects the body and mind is moving fast, and we’re learning as quickly as we’re working, but nobody has to prove music’s impact for us to benefit from it - it’s obvious. The sounds of these spaces aren’t something to define and file away, but something to keep discovering.
